birthday remembrance
The Fourth of July is our beloved Jazz's birthday...
and this year, we're celebrating it in a truly meaningful way.
This year, we're coming together for an evening that beautifully reflects everything Miss Mercy Jeyaraja Rao ("Jazz") stood for education, compassion, service and community. We're honoured to mark the occasion through four special milestones:
1️⃣ Launch of TLF's First Signature Initiative
We will unveil the official poster for the Timpots Legacy Foundation Inter-School Public Speaking Boot Camp & Contest, dedicated to the memory of our beloved Jazz, a tribute to the teacher who inspired generations to find their voice.
2️⃣ Digital Launch of the TLF Ecosystem
We will officially introduce the Timpots Legacy Foundation Website and the inaugural edition of our Newsletter, creating a permanent digital home for our alumni community to connect, preserve memories, celebrate achievements and build a lasting legacy together.
3️⃣ Supporting a Cause that Matters
We are privileged to join the Rohit Memorial Trust's Palliative Care event, a cause that resonates deeply with TLF's vision of serving society through meaningful community impact. This marks the beginning of one of the Foundation's key areas of social engagement.
4️⃣ An Evening with Jerry Pinto
Celebrated author Jerry Pinto will launch his latest book on Palliative Care and share powerful insights into why compassionate care matters to all of us.
And here's the special surprise... Jerry Pinto will also unveil our Public Speaking Boot Camp & Contest poster and join us in cutting Jazz's birthday cake!
Author. Storyteller. Activist.
A wonderful guest to help us celebrate a wonderful teacher. Four milestones. One unforgettable evening. A celebration of legacy, learning, service and new beginnings, all inspired by Jazz, whose influence continues to shape generations of Timpots.
Once a Timpot, Always a Timpot.
