❤️ JAZZY NITE 2026 - THE ULTIMATE TIMPOTS HOMECOMING

19 December 2026 | Park Hotel | Vizag

Different batches. Different generations. Countless stories. One Timpany family.

We came together because of Jazz. Now, let's come home for each other.

Forever Timpots. Forever Connected. Forever Growing Together.

There are some places we leave behind, but never truly leave. There are friendships that may go quiet for years, yet come alive the moment we meet again. There are people who become such an integral part of our lives that, no matter how far we travel or how much we change, a part of us will always belong to them.

For generations of Timpots, our School, Timpany, has been one such place. It is where many of us spent some of the most formative years of our lives, where friendships began without effort, where our teachers helped shape our character, and where countless ordinary days became extraordinary memories without our even realising it.

On 19 December 2026, the Timpots Legacy Foundation invites us to come together in Vizag for the first time ever, a Timpots Annual Global Reunion - Jazzy Nite 2026 - The Ultimate House Jam. But this is about so much more than attending an event. It is about coming home to the people, memories and relationships that helped make us who we are.

The friends who knew us before the world did

Think about the friends you grew up with. They knew you before the professional titles, the achievements, the responsibilities and the carefully constructed lives we lead today. They remember the schoolbag you carried, the mischief you got into, the House you belonged to, the games you played, the examinations you worried about and the laughter that could turn an ordinary school day into an unforgettable one.

Back then, we never imagined that we would one day look back at those seemingly ordinary moments with such affection. We were simply growing up together, unaware that we were collecting memories we would treasure for the rest of our lives.

Then life took over. We moved to different cities and countries, pursued careers, raised families, built businesses, faced challenges and celebrated milestones. Some friendships stayed close; others slipped into occasional greetings and birthday wishes. For many, decades passed without a proper meeting.

Yet something beautiful happens when Timpots find each other again. A familiar face can take us straight back to a forgotten memory. A nickname can bring back the laughter of an entire classroom. A conversation that begins with, "Do you remember those days?" can make the years between us disappear.

That is the magic of growing up together. We may lose touch with the details of one another's lives, but we never entirely lose the part of ourselves that we shared.

The special charm of meeting Timpots across generations

But what makes this reunion truly special is that we won't just be meeting our own batchmates. We will have the opportunity to meet older and younger generations of Timpots, people who walked the same school corridors in different decades but share the same roots, heritage and sense of belonging.

Imagine meeting a Timpot who graduated long before you joined Timpany, listening to their stories of a school you recognise but have never experienced in quite the same way. Imagine meeting someone from a younger batch, discovering their journey, their aspirations and the memories they carry of the very same teachers, classrooms and traditions. Different generations may have grown up in different times, but they share something precious: the experience of being part of the Timpany family.

Perhaps the Timpot sitting beside you at Jazzy Nite will be someone you have never met before. Perhaps they will be from a different House, a different batch or a different generation. Yet, within minutes, you may discover common memories, shared values, familiar stories or an unexpected connection.

That is the beauty of a global alumni reunion: it gives us the chance to turn a community of names into a community of people we know, understand and care about.

Our school may have given each generation a different experience, but our shared heritage gives us a common starting point. Older Timpots can share wisdom and memories; younger Timpots can bring fresh perspectives, new energy and new possibilities. Friendships can form across age groups, mentorships can emerge naturally, and stories that might otherwise disappear can be passed down to generations who never had the chance to experience them firsthand.

This is how a school legacy grows beyond individual batches. It becomes a living connection between generations.

A reunion that our Teachers will cherish too

This reunion is the most important because of our beloved Teachers. How often did any of us get to meet the Teachers who taught us the beginning of everything we know.

For many of us, meeting our teachers again is an opportunity that becomes more precious with every passing year. These are the people who knew us when we were still discovering who we could become. They corrected us, challenged us, encouraged us and sometimes believed in us long before we learnt to believe in ourselves.

We may have forgotten lessons from textbooks, but we remember the teacher who stayed back to help us, the one who encouraged us after a disappointment, the one whose words gave us confidence, and the one whose expectations pushed us to do better. Our teachers gave us more than academic knowledge. They helped shape our values, resilience, curiosity and understanding of the world.

But have we ever paused to imagine what this reunion might mean to them?

Imagine a teacher walking into a room filled with former students from different batches and generations. Imagine being greeted by familiar faces, hearing a chorus of "Good evening, Ma'am!" or "Sir, do you remember me?", and suddenly finding yourself surrounded by the children you once taught ,now grown into adults with families, careers, experiences and stories of their own.

Imagine the joy of discovering what became of a student who sat quietly at the back of your classroom, the one who made everyone laugh, the one who struggled but persevered, or the one whose potential you always knew would blossom. Imagine hearing that a lesson you taught decades ago stayed with someone throughout their life, or that a few words of encouragement made a difference when they needed it most.

For a teacher, these encounters can be profoundly moving. There is a special joy in seeing the lives of the children you once guided unfold before you. The students may have grown older, but the memories of teaching them remain part of a teacher's own life story.

And for us, to sit beside our teachers again, listen to their stories, share our journeys and simply say, "Thank you, Ma'am" or "Thank you, Sir," is a gift we should not take for granted.

This reunion is not just an invitation for former students to return to their teachers. It is an invitation for our teachers to reconnect with the generations they helped shape, to celebrate the people their students have become, and to know that the work they did continues to make a difference.

For one evening, the classroom will have no front row or back row, no report cards and no examinations. Just teachers and students, reunited by affection, gratitude and a shared history.

More than nostalgia, an opportunity to create new memories

The Timpots Legacy Foundation is being built on the belief that our connection to Timpany should not end with the memories we carry from school. Those memories are our beginning, not our destination.

Jazzy Nite gives us an opportunity to build relationships that enrich our lives today and continue into the future. It is a chance to get to know Timpots from other batches, reconnect with people we may have known only by name, discover shared interests and find unexpected friendships across generations.

The person you meet at the reunion may become someone you travel with, learn from, collaborate with, turn to for advice or simply call for a conversation when you need a familiar voice. A meeting that begins with a handshake could grow into a friendship that lasts another lifetime.

We are no longer the schoolchildren we once were. We have different perspectives, experiences, talents and wisdom to share. Imagine what could happen when all these lives and experiences come together, not just to reminisce, but to support one another, mentor younger Timpots, celebrate achievements and contribute to something meaningful.

This is how a reunion can become the beginning of something much bigger than a single evening.

Why coming together matters now

Life has a way of convincing us that there will always be another opportunity. Another holiday. Another reunion. Another time to make that phone call or meet that old friend.

But none of us knows how many opportunities we will have to bring everyone together again. Our teachers are growing older. Our classmates are navigating their own journeys. Families and responsibilities continue to change. Distance does not become easier simply because we get used to it.

That is why we must make room for the people who matter while we still can.

We do not need a special achievement to celebrate. We do not need to wait for a milestone birthday or a formal occasion to reconnect. Sometimes, the most meaningful reason to gather is simply that we can.

Come even if you have lost touch with your entire batch. Come even if you are unsure whether anyone will remember you. Come even if you have not attended a reunion before. Come if you are a teacher who would love to see former students again. Come if you are a senior Timpot with decades of stories to share, or a younger Timpot eager to discover the people and traditions that came before you.

You do not have to know everyone to belong. Sometimes, all it takes is showing up and being willing to say hello.

Carrying Jazz's legacy forward

For many of us, Jazz was the person who brought this community together. She was our teacher, our leader and a source of pride for generations of Timpots. Her wish to see her students reconnect reminds us that the bonds formed within a school community can become much more enduring than the years spent inside its classrooms.

We came together to honour her. Along the way, we began rediscovering one another.

Perhaps that is one of the most beautiful things to emerge from this journey: the realisation that keeping Jazz's legacy alive is not only about remembering her, but also about nurturing the relationships she cherished.

Every reunion, every conversation, every teacher we honour, every old friend we reconnect with and every new friendship we build helps carry that legacy forward.

The Timpots Legacy Foundation can become a place where our past is remembered with affection, our present is enriched by meaningful relationships, and our future is strengthened by a community that chooses to stay connected.

But a community is not built by an organisation alone. It is built by the people who make the effort to participate, reach out, include others and show up for one another.

The reunion becomes meaningful when each of us decides that being together is worth making the effort for.

Make the memories while we can

One day, we may look back at Jazzy Nite 2026 and remember the music, the photographs, the laughter, the familiar faces and the unexpected reunions. We may remember the teacher we finally got to hug, the friend we had not seen in forty years, the senior Timpot who shared a story from another era, or the younger Timpot we met for the first time that evening and somehow felt we had known forever.

Those moments will become part of our shared history. They will be stories we tell our children and grandchildren, photographs we revisit, and memories that remind us how fortunate we were to have found our way back to one another.

We spend so much of life building careers, acquiring possessions and meeting responsibilities. These things have their place, but so do the relationships that make life meaningful. There comes a time when we must ask ourselves whether we are making enough room for the people who have been part of our story and for those who may become part of our future.

So, dear Timpots, let us not allow another year to pass with the thought, "I should have gone."

Let us make the journey. Let us find one another again. Let us laugh, dance, reminisce, meet our teachers, discover friendships across generations and create memories that will stay with us long after the music ends.

Come for your batchmates. Come for your teachers. Come to meet the older and younger Timpots whose stories are woven into our shared heritage. Come for the memories you cherish and the friendships you have yet to discover. Come because life is meant to be lived, shared and celebrated with people who matter.

And most of all, come because this is our opportunity to remind one another that, no matter where life has taken us, we will always share a place we can call home.
